Please view full details of the Primary Care Weekend Service that operates from Surbiton Health Centre for all patients.
The service is available from 8am – 8pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Please call 020 3841 9942 to make an appointment – lines open at 8am
In addition to the weekend access clinic at Surbiton health Centre, there are also extra GP appointments being made available to Kingston residents across the week so that you can access Primary Care services from 8am – 8pm seven days a week.
These clinics are being hosted at three locations across the borough in Kingston, Surbiton and Chessington. You can be seen at any one of them and the doctor that you see will be able to access your medical record held here at the Groves Medical Centre. For more details please view the leaflet.
Please note that these additional appointments are not meant to be follow up appointments for anything you have already been seeing a doctor here about. Similarly they will not deal with mental health emergencies, dental emergencies, any pregnancy related issues or exacerbation of a long term condition such as Asthma, COPD or Diabetes. Instead these services are designed to see and treat minor illnesses and injuries which would typically be seen in a GP Practice such as;
- Headaches, dizziness, high temperature and severe flu like symptoms
- Hayfever
- Minor cuts, bruises, burns and scalds
- Strains and Sprains
- Minor infections including ear, nose and throat
- Abdominal pain
- Dermatology and skin complaints
- URGENT prescription medicines
If you are experiencing chest pain or severe shortness of breath you should go to A&E.
